THE FIELD TRIP TO MARINA BEACH
One day, my friends and myself went to Marina Beach. We were excited to see the beach. I was playing in the beach. I heard a crying voice and I looked around. I saw Nirmal was crying. A crab bit his little finger. And, Harish was laughing at him. I helped Nirmal and told Harish, “We should not laugh when others are in trouble”. Harish didn’t obey me and continued laughing. Harish skid and got hurt. He said sorry to me and Nirmal.

The Summer Joy
It was summer holidays. Raghul, Seetha, Lakshmi, Arun,Ram and Raghav planned to go to beach with their family. When they went to the beach, they saw that the beach was polluted. They did not feel like looking at that beach. It was so shabby. The parents of all the children said, ‘Why people are polluting the beach’? For that, Ram told, ‘Why can’t we clean the beach and enjoy’? All the parents and children accepted. They started to clean the beach. That time Raghul, got hurt in his hand by a crab. Raghul’s father came running and said, “Take care of yourself and clean”. All cleaned and went back home with fulfillment of doing great job.

CLEANING KOVALAM BEACH
One warm and sunny day, Monish, Gopi, Harish, Maliga and Sasha went to Kovalam beach and Mahabalipuram temple. After seeing Krishna’s Butter Ball and Arjuna’s penance, shore temple, Pancha Rattas etc, they went to Kovalam beach. They were shocked because, the whole Kovalam beach was full of plastic tins and covers. They saw a couple leaving their children’s diaper and cola tins in the sand. So, the children were disappointed. They took a sack and their gloves to take the wastes in the beach. One of their brother Arun who drove the car, was seeing their social service. After cleaning the things he took his brother and his friends home in the car. Then, they saw the photos they took there. It was a memorable day.

One day our school took us to the beach for cleaning. I was excited and eagerly waiting when we would reach the place. I was the first person to get down from the bus. When we were cleaning the beach in peace and enjoying the sound of the waves suddenly, a loud noise was heard. I was scared. We turned around and saw that it was Arjun. Arjun was a naughty boy. My teacher went near Arjun and asked, ‘what happened?’ crying he said, ‘Mam a crab bit me and it is paining.’ The teacher took him to the bus and gave him first aid. He said, ‘Thank you’. Then, we returned to our school a little disappointed.

EVIL BEGETS EVIL
Once, there were five friends. Their names were Ramu, Vignesh, Madhu, Dhana and Reeta. They were very mischievous children. One day, they went to a beach for fishing. Ramu started taking the crabs. Reeta and Madhu started fishing and putting them in the bags. Vignesh and Dhana said, ‘We should not eat animals. So, please stop it.’ But, the three didn’t listen to them. After sometime, a crab with its pincers caught hold of Madhu and Reeta’s hand. All the three shouted in pain, The two friends helped the other friends. One man who was watching this from the beginning said, ‘Evil begets Evil’. The three friends realized their mistake.

THE CLEANING DAY
Once upon a time, there lived a group of children near the seashore. One day, they saw the beach was dirty. So, they went to clean it. Among them, a boy saw a crab. He thought that, it was a toy crab and touched the crab’s claws. It caught the boy with its claws. The boy cried help! help! help!. Then, the other boys came and bet the crab with a big stick. It left the boy. The boy thanked his friends and left.

One day, there lived a small boy called Anand. He was so rich. He always, teased others that, ‘I am so rich and you are so poor’. One day Anand went to the beach. Some children worked there to get money. When the children were working Anand entered there. ‘You poor children’, he said, “You are working here for the sake of money”. He laughed loudly. Then, he went back. When he was walking on the beach, a crab bit his little finger. He started crying loudly. The children heard the noise and they gathered there. They immediately looked at his wound and gave him first aid. He realized his mistake too.
