A mall is a place where everything is available in one place. It gives us a comfortable shopping experience. A visit to a shopping mall is always exciting for someone who resides in big cities. I visited a shopping mall with my family which is nearby my home. It is known as phoenix mall.
Phoenix mall has stationery and other things which I will buy from there. The shopping mall has variety of foods.

During my last Christmas vacation, I visited Express Avenue with my family. I was really excited. There were exclusive shops for foods, bags, clothes…. there seemed to be a shop for everything. There were play areas for kids which had toys, games and much more. When we went to the toy store we saw Santa sitting near a giant Christmas tree in front of the store. Unfortunately, due to time constraint we couldn’t see the entire place. So we returned with a heavy heart. But I was happy when my mother promised to take me there again.

A Shopping mall is a place where everything is available in one destination. It gives us the comfort of shopping. I am always excited about tall buildings, shopping malls and big restaurants. Last Sunday, I visited a shopping mall with my family which is near my home. It is known as the City Mall. The shopping mall we visited is the biggest mall in the city. It was the first time I visited a shopping mall. So, I was very happy to see such a big and nice place. I looked at the enormity of the structure. It spanned the length equivalent to ten houses. As we were nearing the entry, I felt a gush of cold air coming from inside the mall.
There were many different sections in the shopping mall. Every section had its crowd of customers. The first section had shops selling the household things and all the groceries. My mother shopped for the monthly rations, she took many things like soaps, pulses and spices. We children bought all the food items and snacks.
The second section had cloth shops for children, women and men. We visited the shop, but did not buy any cloth, then we visited some artificial jewellery shops, cosmetic shops and footwear shops which were also there in that section. The shops were much decorated and very attractive.
The third section had shops of electronic items like Refrigerator, Air Conditioners and Washing Machines. We saw some music and video shops. There were some furniture shops too. This section had many stationery shops too.
We visited many sweets and snacks shops and had refreshment there. In this mall there was a game zone for kids, it was full of kids as it was vacation time. We enjoyed playing games in a game zone too. The visit to the shopping mall was a new and exciting experience for me. I saw many new things.

Last Sunday I visited a shopping mall with my family which is near my house. There were many different sections in the shopping mall.
The first section had shops selling the house hold things and all the grocery items. My mother shopped for things like soaps, pulses and spices.
The second section had cloth shops for all age groups and gender. We visited the shop to have a look at the clothes displayed and did window shopping. Then we visited artificial jsewellery shops which were decorated and very attractive.
The third section had shops of electronic items and there were stationery shops too. In the mall, there were game zone for kids. I played there and enjoyed a lot.
We had lunch inside the mall, the eateries at the mall were all big and had food items ranging from burgers, sandwiches, pizzas of India, Chinese, continental etc.

I was searching the route to the mall, where I wanted to go and I reached the mall. Wow! What a huge Mall!!! I visited the fun city. I gave thousand rupees and filled the fun city card. I played few games. Hoo! Then I had many prize cards. I was counting them. I got 5000 prize cards. Then I went to the prize counter. They gave me a remote control helicopter. I was very happy. I saw 3D movies in the mall. The 3D movie was really scary as it’s a 3D ghost movie. I went to one of the shops where wonderful clothes were put on display. I bought many dresses. I left the mall happily. It was a wonderful day at the mall.

A mall is basically a shopping building complex joined by walkway; the walkways are escalators, lifts and comfortable stairs that connects all types of shops at one roof. It provides both shopping and entertainment.
Visiting a mall is very enjoyable for me. It provides change from repetitive scheduled work. Huge lighting gives extra cheer and energy. No more smoke and dust of market can disturb while shopping. The negative sides of malls are that they are costlier than an open market.
I went to the Grand mall in Velachery. That was a clean place for entertainment. The food items are usually of superior qualities. There are perfect combination of surrounding shops for eatables. The cinema is at the top floor of Grand Mall. It has four screens.
I enjoyed a lot in the Grand Mall with my family and cousins.
