Correspondent

Chitra Prasad started her career in NSN in the year 1996 as a Co-ordinator. She became the Principal in 2000 and went on to become the Correspondent in 2006. She is a post graduate in English with a bachelor’s degree in in Education and a post graduate diploma in Educational Leadership. She has been in the field of education for 25 years and is a passionate educationist who loves to be a “mom at school.” She believes in an education system that unleashes the humongous human potential and aids in discovering the self. A school, according to her, should not only be a “Temple of. Learning” but also a “Temple of Transformation.” She played a vital role in the expansion of NSN as the NSN Group of Schools and was instrumental in the Accreditation of all the three schools. She leads a team of more than 350 staff. She works closely with the Heads of all the three schools, empowering them to be dynamic leaders!

Principal

Kavitha Kannan commenced her career in the year 2002 as a PRE-KG teacher and equipped herself with Montessori training. She has a vast experience of over seventeen years in the field of education.
She joined the NSN family in the year 2006 as a primary teacher and pursued B.Ed and M.Sc Psychology.  Her unquenchable thirst for knowledge and out of box thinking elevated her as a Primary Co-Ordinator.  Her expertise in Academics as well as Administration paved way for her to be entrusted with the responsibility of Vice Principal.  She groomed herself through various trainings and workshops.  Her passion for excellence in teaching was the driving force that enabled her to implement the learnings of various trainings like A Class Apart by V-EXCEL, Educational Leadership Program, PSA training by Quality Council of India.
Her Leadership skills and relentless efforts in accomplishing great feats helped her in excelling as ISA Co-Ordinator and Accreditation Co-Ordinator for NABET. She became the Principal in the year 2017. Her unconditional love for children helped her to build a good rapport with the children. She believes in team spirit and takes her team forward  to make a difference to the future of India as the Principal of the esteemed institution.

Founder

Smt. Lalitha Menon started her career as a lecturer in Economics in the Ethiraj. College for Women. At a time when women’s education was very rare, in the 1950s, she did her post graduation. Little did she know what fate had in store for her. She was widowed at a very young age and was left with three daughters. After her tryst with Destiny, she picked up the threads of her life and started the NSN Children’s School in 1968 with just two students, to perpetuate the memory of her husband, late Sri NSN Menon. She was an embodiment of courage, determination, perseverance, and everything that made her relentless in her striving. Every time life pushed her down, she got up one more time and dusted herself and moved forward. Life was very challenging for her as she had to strike a balance between personal and professional life. Her unshakeable faith in the Almighty gave her immense strength. Her total dedication and devotion to her work contributed to the growth of the NSN Group of Schools. Her life stands as a testimony to the indomitable spirit of a woman who refused to be cowed down by the challenges of life. Success is not the absence of failure, but the will to move forward in spite of it. “Only when you have a vision for tomorrow, you will find power and purpose in your today’s work.”
