IF I WERE A TREE

 

 

 

My roots will hold the soil and make me grow strong.  A “varda or a ‘”Gaja”, cannot make me fall as I will grow to serve you all. If my branches were hands, I would stop man from using pesticides that harm the growing kid’s charm. I will have roots so long to tie up the man who comes to cut me along. I will make the Earth, pollution free and bring more rain to make crops grow. I will make flowers bloom and let charm into your room.

I would have been the best gift of nature. I would have had a lot of choices. I would have been an useful agent which brings the precious rain and a wide smile in the faces of the poor farmers.  Even the birds would have built their nest on my lap.

I would have given fresh oxygen to breathe, colourful flowers to adorn people, fruits to eat and would have acted as a medicine. So it is good planting more trees.

If, I am a tree. I will be a home for all the birds. I will beg people not to cut me and I will grow big, give rain and make the world green. I will give healthy fruits and nuts to the birds and the people. I will give fresh air and oxygen for breathing.

And tired people can take rest

My leaves, branches, fruits and seeds

Will give people medicines, food and wood in need

If I were a tree

I would spread my branches far and wide

And grow many saplings on my side

My flowers will give honey to the Bee

So humans! will you let me grow free!

If I were a tree, I would ask people to water me and not cut me. I would plead them to let me grow so that I can give them fruits, vegetables, flowers, paper, wood and more. I will clean the air they pollute and let them breathe  fresh air . I would promise to bring more rain and make the Earth green again…..

I love humans too….

But humans pollute me too…

What can I do..

I will give you life too…

If you give me water too…

I also give birth to plants

But you give death to me

Don’t do this again

I will give you life.
