உலகில் பல்வேறு தொழில்கள் இருக்கின்றன.  ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஏதாகிலும்  ஒரு தொழிலைத் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கை இலட்சியமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பர் அத்தகைய கனவுகளில், அவர்கள் பலவாறாக மிதந்திருப்பர்.  அத்தகைய கனவு நனவாகும் போது,

கண்களை மூடியதும் செவியில் குயிலின் கூக்குரல் திரும்பிப் பார்த்தேன்.  இயற்கையின் எழில் கொஞ்சும் இடம் அது.  பார்க்கும் இடம் எல்லாம் பச்சை வர்ணம் தீட்டிய ஓவியமாய்க் காட்சியளித்தது.  பறவைகள் ஆடிப்பாடிப்

நம் வாழ்வின் ஒரு பகுதி நகைச்சுவை; அது மனிதர்களின் அன்றாட தேவை. வாழ்வில் அனைவருக்கும் உண்டு பகை; அதை அழிக்கும் ஆயுதமே நகை. குழந்தைகளைச் சிரிக்க வைப்பவர் கோமாளி; அவரின் சிரிப்பு எதிரிகளைத் தாக்கும்

ஒர் மனிதன், தன் மொழியையும். நாட்டையும் நாகரிகத்தையும் அடையாளப்படுத்துவதை விட மனிதநேயத்துடன் இருப்பதே  இன்றியமையாத செயலாகும்.  எடுத்துக்காட்டாக, நான் மொழியில்  தமிழன்,   நாட்டில் இந்தியன்  ,  உலகில்

கனவுப் பள்ளி அருமையான தலைப்பு  – என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரை சில மாணவர்களுக்குத் தான் கனவுப் பள்ளி என்ற தலைப்பு தன் எண்ணங்களை வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்கான தலைப்பாகும்.  ஆனால் நம் நாட்டில் கனவுப் பள்ளி என்றவுடன்

எழுந்திரு கண்ணே மணி 7 ஆகிவிட்டது. அம்மாவின் கூச்சலில் அதிர்ந்தெழுந்தேன். எங்கே நான் சுவாசித்த காற்று; நேசித்த பூக்கள்;  யோசித்த இயற்கை? ம்ம் ….. ஏசி காற்றில் இயற்கை மடிந்தது;  தூசிக் காற்றில்

அனைவருக்கும் என்னுடைய  வணக்கங்கள்.மனிதன் என்ற ஒருவன் பிறக்கும்போது அவனுள் ஓர் மனிதத்துவம் சேர்ந்திருக்கும். அந்த மனிதத்துவத்தில் இருப்பது என்னவென்று தெரியுமா   அன்பு , கருணை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் சமூக

   மனிதநேயம் என்றவுடன் நம் நினைவிற்கு  வருவது நம்மில் பலரும் இதுவரை நேரில் கூட கண்டிராத தெரசாவும்.  நெல்சன் மண்டேலா. ஹெலன் கெல்லர் போன்ற சான்றோர்கள்தான்.  மனிதநேயம் என்பது என்ன இவர்களின் கையடக்கப்

நம் முன்னோர் காலத்திலிருந்து இன்று வரை மாறாதிருப்பது நகைச்சுவை மட்டுமே.  சிறியவர் முதல் முதியவர் வரை சிரிப்பு மட்டுமே மாறாமல் இருக்கிறது. வாய்விட்டு சிரித்தால் நோய் விட்டுப்போகும் என்பதை நாம் மறவாமல்

மண்ணில் முதல் துளி விழுகையில் உயிர்கள் மலர்கின்றன.  மழை நம் வாழ்வில் ஒரு முக்கியப் பங்கைப் பெறுகிறது.  மழை பெய்ய உதவுவது காடுகளில் உள்ள மரங்கள்தான்.  ஆனால். மனிதர்களான நம்மைப் போன்றோர் சுயநலத்திற்காக

உலகில் பலருக்கும் தெரியாத ரகசியம் உண்டு.    அதில் ஒன்று எண்ணமே வாழ்வு.  இதன் பொருள் எண்ணம் போல் வாழ்க்கை.   அதாவது நாம் எதில் கவனம் செலுத்தி அந்த பொருள் வேண்டும் என நினைத்தால் அதை நாம் கண்டிப்பாக

கவலைகள் தெரியாத வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சிகள் சிறகடித்து வாழும் வானத்தின் பறவைகள். ஒரு வார்த்தையில் பல அர்த்தங்கள் சிந்திக்க வைக்கும் சிந்தனையாளிகள். மெல்லிய குரலில் மழலை மணம் துள்ளிய பேச்சில் பேசுவாய் தினம்.

 நம் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் தனித்தன்மைகள் உண்டு.  விருப்பங்களும் உள்ளன.  ஆயினும், பிறரோடு உறவு கொள்கையில் அவர்களுக்கேற்றவாறு  நம்மை  மறைத்து, மாற்றிக் கொள்கிறோம்,  வளைந்து கொடுக்கிறோம்.  ஆனால், நம் மனசாட்சி

உன் வெற்றி உன் கையில் ! முயன்றால் முடியாதது இல்லை. உன் எண்ணம் போல் வாழ்வு. நல்லது நினைத்தால் நல்லதே நடக்கும். பிறருக்கு தீங்கு நினைத்தால் அது உனக்கே . உன்னால் முடியும் என்று நீ எண்ணினால் எதுவும்

உழவே உலகின் அச்சாணி அதைப் பார்த்து வாழ்த்துவாய் நீ. ஏரை நீயும் தூக்கிடுவாய்! மக்களின் வாழ்வை காத்திடுவாய்! உழவுத் தொழிலைப் பழக்கிடுவாய்! நாளைய உலகை உயர்த்திடுவாய்! உழவை நீயும் பழகு! அதில் வரும் உணவே

கனவுகளை எண்ணிக்கொண்டே இருந்தால் அவற்றை நாம் விரைவில் அடையலாம்.  அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்கள், நம் போன்ற இளைஞர்களைக் கனவு காணுங்கள் என்றார்.  எனது கனவு, நான் என் வாழ்க்கையை  முழுமையுடன்,  சோதனைகளின்றி வாழ

மரங்கள், கடவுள் தந்த வரம்.மரம் விழுகிறது; காடுகள் அழிகிறது.  மரங்கள் அழிய நிறைய காரணங்கள் உள்ளன.  ஆனால் எனக்குத் தெரிந்த ஒரே காரணம் மனிதன்தான். கடவுளால் உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட மரத்தை மனிதர்கள் அழிப்பதற்கு

1947 வரை ஆங்கிலேயர்களிடம் அடிமைபட்டுக் கிடந்த இந்தியா இன்று நிலாவிற்கு செயற்கைக் கோள்களைச்  செலுத்தி  ஆராய்ச்சி செய்யும் அளவிற்கு முன்னேறியுள்ளது.  உலகிலேயே ஏழாவது பெரிய நாடு. இரண்டாவது அதிகமான மக்கள்

தொலைபேசியை நோக்கிச் செல்லும் இந்த உலகில் நாம் மனிதனையும் அவனுடன் ஏற்பட்ட உறவையும் மறந்து விடுகிறோம்.  கூட்டுக் குடும்பத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் வாழ்ந்த மனிதர்கள் இப்போது மனித உறவே வேண்டாம் என்று பணத்தின்

மரங்கள் நம் நண்பர்கள் என்று புத்தகங்களும்,  ஊடகங்களும் கூறினாலும் எதிரிகளைக் கொல்வது போல மரங்களை வெட்டுகிறோம்.  இதனால் பல உயிரினங்களின் வாழ்வாதாரம் பாதிக்கப்படுவதை அறிய மறுக்கிறோம்.  நாம்

நூல் என்னும் சொல் என்னை வியக்க வைக்கிறது.  சிறிய வயதிலிருந்தே எனக்கு புத்தகம் படிக்க மிகவும் பிடிக்கும்.  இந்த எண்ணம் தான்  என்னை நாள்தோறும்  நூலகம் செய்யத் துண்டியது.  ஒரு நாள் என்னை ஒருவர் உன்

எனது கனவு பள்ளி பெரியதாகவும். அழகாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும்,   எனக்கு நல்ல பாடம்  கற்பிக்க வேண்டும்,  நல்ல நண்பர்களும், ஆசிரியர்களும் இருக்க வேண்டும்.  விளையாடவும்,  நூலகத்தில் புத்தகம் படிக்கவும் நேரம்

முகநக நட்பது நட்பன்று நெஞ்சத்து அகநக நட்பது நட்பு.                                 –  திருவள்ளுவர் முகம் மட்டும் மலரும்படியாக நட்புச் செய்வது நட்பு அன்று.  நெஞ்சமும் மலரும்படியாக உள்ளன்பு கொண்டு

நமது உலகம் முன்பு போல் இல்லை. அறிவியலும் ஆய்வுகளும் வளர்ந்து விட்டன.  ஆனால் நமது உடல் நலத்தையும் மன நிம்மதியையும் பற்றி நினைப்பதே இல்லை.  அதற்கு மூல காரணம் நம் கையுடன் ஒரு உடல் உறுப்பு போல இருக்கும்

ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களின் கூற்றுப்படி ஊடகங்கள் ஒரு மனிதனின் ஆயுட்காலத்தை குiwறைக்கின்றது என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.இதைப் படிப்பவர்கள் ஆச்சர்யப்படலாம்  ஆனால் இதுவே உண்மை, அமெரிக்காவின் டெக்ஸாஸ் மாகாணத்தின் ஒரு

நாம் எப்பொழுதும் ஒருவரை நண்பராக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்  முன் முதலில் அவரது குணத்தை நன்கு ஆராய்தல் வேண்டும்.  அவ்வாறு ஆராய்ந்த பின்பு அவருடன் சேரலாமா வேண்டாமா என்பதைக் குறித்து முடிவெடுத்தல் வேண்டும்.

இன்று  இளைஞர்கள் படிக்கிறார்களோ இல்லையோ ஆனால் ஊடகங்களை  நன்கு பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.    அவற்றின் பாதிப்புகளை நன்கு அறிந்தும் இளைஞர்கள்  மன நலத்தைப் பாதிக்கும் வலையில் சிக்கிக் கொள்கிறார்கள். 

இந்தியாவில் பல பேர் படித்தும், அப்படிப்பிற்கு தகுந்த வேலை இல்லையே என ஏங்குகிறார்கள்.  சிலர் அரசாங்க வேலை கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என விரும்புகிறார்கள்.  அரசாங்க வேலைதான்  தனக்கு வேண்டுமென்று நினைக்காமல்

உன் நண்பன் யார் என்று சொல்! நீ யார் என்று சொல்கிறேன் என்பது முன்னோர் வாக்கு.  நல்ல நண்பர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வேண்டும்.  கொடை வள்ளலாகத் திகழ்ந்த கர்ணன் சேரக் கூடாத இடத்தில் (துரியோதனிடம்)சேர்ந்ததால் 

வானத்திலுள்ள விண்மீன்களும் நட்சத்திரங்களும் மனிதனின் ஆர்வத்தைத் தூண்டின.  அதுவே, விண்ணியல் ஆய்வின் தொடக்கமாகும்.  பல்லாயிரம் ஆண்டுகட்கு முன்னரே மனிதர்கள் இவ்வாய்வைத் தொடங்கினர்.    ஆர்யபட்டா என்னும்

இந்தியாவின் மக்கள் தொகை மிக அதிகம்.  ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் பல லட்சக்கணக்கான இளைஞர்கள் கல்லூரிப் படிப்பை முடித்து வேலை வாய்ப்புக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள்.  அனைவருக்கும் இந்தியாவில் வேலை கிடைப்பதில்லை. 

நுகர்வோர் என்போர் வியாபாரிகளின் பொருட்களைப் பணத்திற்கு ஈடாகக் கொடுத்து அதனைப் பயன்படுத்துவோர் ஆவர்.    அவர்கள் அதனைப் பணம் கொடுத்து வாங்கியுள்ளதால் அவர்களுக்கு எந்த நோயும், ஆபத்தும் அதனால் வரக்கூடாது

நீர் நம் அன்றாட வாழ்வில் இன்றியமையாத ஒரு பங்கை வகிக்கிறது.  எனவேதான் திருவள்ளுவர் மழையை அமிழ்தம் என்கிறார்.  இளங்கோவடிகளும் ‘மா மழை போற்றுதும்’ , என்று மழையைப் புகழ்ந்துள்ளார்.  ‘மேல் நின்று தான்

உலகிலுள்ள அனைத்து வளங்களையும் பெற்று, வரலாறு படைத்த நாடு இது.  ஆனால், காலப்போக்கில் அனைத்தும் மாறிவிட்டது.  வளம் மிகுந்து வாரி வழங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த  நாம் இப்பொழுது வயிற்றுப் பசிக்காக மற்ற நாட்டினரிடம்

‘உணவில்லா நாளுண்டு ஊடகமில்லா நாளில்லை’–   என்ற நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். இந்த 21 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் ஊடங்களே நம்மை ஆட்டிப் படைக்கின்றன.  முக்கியமாக 2015 – ல் இருந்து ஊடகங்கள் உணவை விட

இக்காலத்தில் சிறுவர்களில் இருந்து முதியவர் வரை அனைவரும் ஊடகங்களில் மூழ்கி உள்ளனர்.  அதிலும் இளைஞர்களின் பங்குதான் அதிகம்.  இப்போதைய இளைஞர்கள் நாள்  முழுவதும் கணினி, கைபேசி, போன்ற ஊடகங்களைப்

எங்கே போனாலும் தூரம் சென்றாலும் நம் நட்பு மாறாதே நண்பா காலம் போயினும் நாட்கள் ஓடினும் நம்  நட்பு பிரியாதே – இதுவரை தினம் பார்த்த அந்த நாட்கள் நினைத்தாலும் வாராத அந்த நேரம் மீண்டும் அந்த நாட்கள்

அக்காலத்தில் மக்கள் பொழுதுபோக்கிற்கு திருவிழா, விளையாட்டுபோட்டி மற்றும் பல ஆரோக்கிய நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்துவார்கள்.  இன்றைய காலத்தில் குழந்தைகளும் பெரியோர்களும் திறன் பேசியில்தான் பொழுதைக் கழிக்கின்றன, 

கையளவில் இல்லா உலகத்தைக்  கைக்குள் சுருக்கிய ஊடகம் ஒரு விரல் அழுத்த உலகத்தைக்காட்டும் ஊடகம். அருகில் இல்லா உறவினரை எதிரில் கொண்டு வரும் ஊடகம்.    மனதில் தோன்றும் ஐயத்தைப் போக்கும்ஊடகம். இவையெல்லாம்

நான் பார்த்த முதல் இடம் உன் கருவறை. நிலவை அழகாய் காட்டுவது தேய்பிறை. நான் பெற்ற முதல் கொடி தொப்புள் கொடி. நிலவு ஒரு அழகான பூங்கொடி. நீ பாடிய தாலாட்டு. அதுவே நான் கேட்ட முதல் பாட்டு நான் சுவைத்த முதல்

தாய் போல அன்பு கொள்ள தாயைத் தாண்டிய உறவில்லை சொல்லில் அடங்கா தியாகம் தந்தவளை சுமை என நான் நினைக்கவில்லை. தியாகமே வடிவானவளே கண் கடக்கும் கண்ணீரும் உனக்காக

காந்தி முயன்றதால் இந்தியாவுக்கு விடுதலை கிடைத்தது. ஔவை முயன்றதால் ஆத்திசூடி கிடைத்தது. எடிசன் முயன்றதால் மின்விளக்குகிடைத்தது. திருவள்ளுவர் முயன்றதால் திருக்குறள் கிடைத்தது. நாம் முயன்றால் விண்ணையும்

நான் பார்த்த முதல் முகம் … நான் பேசிய முதல் வார்த்தை … நான் கண்ட சிறந்த நட்பு … நான் கண்ட அன்பின் முழு உருவம் …. கருணையின் முழு வடிவம்….. நான் மறக்கவே முடியாத ஒரே ஓவியம்

நிலா தூரம்தான். அதில் காலடி பதிக்கும் வரை. மலை உயரம்தான் அதன் உச்சியைத் தொடும் வரை. விண்வெளி வியப்பானதுதான் அதில் ஏவுகணை விடும் வரை. கடல்நீர் ஆழம்தான்  பவளங்களைப் பார்க்கும் வரை. கற்றல் கடினமானதுதான்

தடைகளைத் தாண்டி வெற்றி பெறுவது,  எளிமையான செயல் அல்ல என்பது நாம் எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த ஒன்றே.  தடைகள் என்பது நம்மை நம் வாழ்வில் ஒருபொழுதும்  தீங்கு  இழைப்பதற்காக இல்லை.  ஒரு தடை வந்தால்நம் மனம்

இந்தியாவின் வாழ்வு என்பது இலட்சக்கணக்கான கிராமங்களின் வாழ்வுதான்.  அந்த கிராமங்களின்  வாழ்வு உழவர்கள் மற்றும் இளைஞர்களின் கையில்தான் உள்ளது  என்பது நமது தேசத்தந்தை காந்தியடிகளின் கூற்றாகும்.

மாணவர்கள் தான் நம் இந்தியாவின் வருங்கால வாழ்வு.  இளைஞர்கள் நமது நாட்டை உயர்நிலைக்குக் கொண்டு வருவதில் பெரும் பங்காற்ற வேண்டும்.  இக்காலக் கட்டத்தில் இந்தியாவின் வாழ்வு இளைஞர்கள் கைகளில் தான் உள்ளது. 

வாழ்க்கையின் ஒரு பக்கம் சந்தோஷப் படை அதன் மறுபக்கம் சவால்கள் நிறைந்த தடை. போராடி வெல்வோம் தடைகளை, உருவாக்குவோம் புதிய கடமைகளை. வியர்வை சிந்தி தடையை முந்தி வாழ்க்கைக் கடலை நீந்து. நல்ல  தொடக்கம் நல்ல

வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு நொடியையும் மகிழ்ந்து கொண்டாடுவோம். நமது கனவுகளுக்கு முட்டுக்கட்டை போடும் தடைகளைத் தாண்டுவோம். காலத்தே கடமையைச் செய்தால் தோல்வி நமக்கில்லை. நல்ல வழியைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தால் கவலை

நாம் அன்றாடம் பரபரப்பான வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம்.  அந்தப் பரபரப்பில் வலிகளும், இடர்களும் இன்னல்களும் , இன்பங்களும் கலந்து வருகின்றன.  உண்மையான நிம்மதி என்பது பணமோ, புகழோ , பெயரோ,

எல்லோர் மனமும் ஏதோ ஒன்றை, சாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைப்பது உண்டு.  ஆனால் அதை நிறைவேற்றும் போது வரும் தடைகளை தாண்டுவதற்கு கடினப்படுகிறோம்.   எந்த செயல் எடுத்தாலும், தடை இல்லாமல் அமையப்போவதில்லை. 

ஆயிரம்   தடைகளை நீ தாண்டி சரித்திரம் படைத்திடு முன் ஓடி அந்தப் படைப்பை அடைந்திடு போராடி, பறவையாய்ப் பறந்து நீ தேடி, தேடியவற்றை மனம் பாடி, அத்தேவையை நிறைவேற்று நீ வேண்டி ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் வெவ்வேறு கனவு.

வலியில்லாமல் பலனில்லை…. என்பதை உணர்ந்தவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக வாழ்க்கையில் சாதிப்பார்கள்.  சாதிப்பவர்களின் வாழ்கையில் ஆயிரம் வலிகள் இருக்கும்.  அவ்வலிகளைத் தாண்டி அவர்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் சாதிக்கும்போது
