I have had so many dreams just like anyone else, which were all strange. Let me share one of my strangest dream, I was an Astronaut. We found a new planet in the universe. There was a strange planet in the universe, where growth occurs in the reverse order. People are born big and grow small. The plants change from big to small. The clocks work anticlockwise. Even people walk in reverse, the rain showers from the ground. We had a visit to this planet and were shocked, and you know what happened. Those people were not able to see us, we were invisible to them. We didn’t want to stay there for a long time. So we decided to move off. But unfortunately our rocket ran out of fuel. After hours of waiting there, we found an emergency fuel can. We were so happy when we started the rocket, guess what happened….. Our rocket moved in reverse. We were crashing into the ground.
By then I realized it was a strange night mare. It was just a dream !!!

It was 22nd November, my brother was shouting from the balcony. I went out to see what was happening and I found that the next house door was unlocked. I was shocked. They had gone on a trip to Delhi. We were thunder struck by it. I asked my brother whether someone had broken into the house. He said that he had seen two strange men walking around suspiciously towards the building and I started scolding my brother for not alerting others or shouting. We opened our gate quietly and went in to the next house. I was shocked to see that there were more than 200 Lilliputians sleeping in the house. We went to the next room and there were 1000 girls who were looking exactly like me. I got scared and ran away from there to save myself. Suddenly I realized that there was no house and it was just a plain land. I could hear my mother calling out to me and I started searching for my brother and found himself inside our house. I was scared and started shouting. Suddenly I woke up only to realize that it was just a dream!

It was a cool evening, I went to a park nearby my home. The park was closed. So, I had no other go than to jump over the wall of the park. There was no one in the park nor in the surroundings. I was sitting in the park bench as I wanted to be alone. Suddenly I heard a voice, the voice sounded that of a small kid’s voice. There was a strange thing standing near me. It was very short and yellow in colour. It was cute too. It was looking like a cartoon character called ‘MINION’ The amazing thing was angry with me. I didn’t know what mistake I had committed. It started scolding me harshly. So I got scared and suddenly it came forward to beat me. All of a sudden I woke up and I realized I had slept while watching the minion movie. So, it was just a dream. This dream gave me a wakeup call to switch off an appliance when not in use and conserve energy.

Once I fought with my brother and went to my bed and covered myself with a blanket. I didn’t fall a sleep. My thoughts were wandering here and there. But suddenly I was feeling very cold and I woke up and went to my mom’s room, I asked where we were. She said we were in Kashmir. I was shocked. Next day morning we went for sight-seeing. In Kashmir we met a guide who took us all the way in a boat, since Kashmir is famous for boating. At the sun set we camped in a forest. We lit a fire and my mom started cooking tinned food. Gazing at the moon we had our dinner. The moon was very beautiful as it was a full moon day. We asked the guide to have dinner but she started behaving rudely. Suddenly when the moon light fell on his face she turned into a cheetah.
When the cloud hid the moon she turned back normal. We enquired her about this. She said it is due to a family curse. The next day we went to a priest and asked about this. He suggested a solution for this. He said near an island a golden tree gives out a golden fruit, if she eats that fruit, her curse will be revoked. We tried our best to get the fruit. But as we were about to reach the island in search of the fruit I heard a sound “Its time to wake up” finally realized that I was dreaming!
That was really a strange dream.

I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn’t. I am surving, running away from the darkness that keeps harvesting me. I didn’t give up. I jumped into a tunnel and suddenly I opened my eyes and I felt like I was in a parallel universe. I saw many houses that looked similar to that of earth and then I found my house. It was suffocating and then I found out that the atmosphere was toxic. I looked around myself and I didn’t find anyone. The room was dark and covered completely by dust and plants. I walked inside and saw the photoframes on the walls. It was broken into pieces. I walked further and suddenly heard a noise. It was like a morning and it said “I need you”. I turned back and saw a creature which was tall and had three heads and no face. I fled as far as I could but the voice was louder and I felt a hand grabbing my leg. I couldn’t move. I cried and tried to fight for my life. I felt for my pulses and tried to pull back and the last thing I could remember was me completely backing out. I heard a sound “wake up! Wake up! I suddenly jumped and opened my eyes and saw my brother pushing and yelling at me to wake up. The time was 3.07 am. My brother was scared and he told that he wanted to sleep with Mom. I asked him the reason and he said that he had a nightmare. I asked him what was it about and then he told me exactly what had happened in my dream. He told me that he saw me in his dream and that I tried to distract the creature that was coming towards my brother and I turned it towards a tunnel. And that is how I reached the parallel universe and I got stuck in the dream when my bother woke up. This was really scary and I couldn’t sleep. This was one of the scariest and strongest dream that I have ever experienced in my life!

Some say dreams are glimpses of our desires that are suppressed deep within us. Dreams come true only when we realize and work towards them. Sometimes we name them strange because we think that those are impossible. That’s when we lose our hope deep within. We reject the thoughts only because we feel that the world will not understand my dream. Once I saw a dream where there were no gates to the entrance of house, the streets were clean and green. Everyone were happy with their life, some were even dancing on the road without any inhibition or fear. I went to my house and saw the T.V. was switched on. I took the remote and was about to close it when I noticed that the NEWS Channel was showing the ways to meditate. It was so good to see meditation on a NEWS channel instead of news like murder, kidnap, robbery and nuclear weapon launch. I kept switching on the NEWS channels and saw only positive news and not negative. I was confused but then suddenly realized what my heart was actually trying to say. A positive switch that is all it wanted. I am going to, one day, make it true.

Me, in my world deep inside my head, tried to open my eyes, with effort I did it. I couldn’t see anything. It was dark. A light suddenly sparkled. The darkness went off, light beamed. I was in a room tied up with a chain in my leg and I turned over to see and I saw… a dead body oozing out blood. It was a man, with no name. I cried for a while and checked up the things in the room. I found brand new watch around the dead body’s hand and a gun in the closed fist. I looked at the watch, it was 8’o’ clock in the night. And then I sat down thinking how to escape. A strange voice disturbed my sense. I heard it saying “The world will end at 8:30. I just stood up stunned, staring at the wall. I found a hole through which air entered. I tried to reach the hole, but I couldn’t. The chain around my leg pulled me back. The time was8:20. I couldn’t find any way to move from the room. A room with no doors. No one could enter or exit. I felt death nearing. I wanted to help and save my parents but I couldn’t even save myself. I felt something behind me. I turned. The clock struck. The gun was loaded and the bullet passed through my head. Me, “Dead’ . With a sudden jerk I wokeup. I thanked God, that it was a DREAM!
