EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In order to ensure an all-round development of the students’ personality, the school provides ample opportunities for the students to engage themselves in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
SPORTS & GAMES

To inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship among students the school conducts intramural Games for the members of the four houses. A full-fledged Athletic Meet is conducted among the members of all the four houses in all the standard events.
BUNNY GROUP – (UKG – Std.II)
The Bunny Programme is for children between the age group of 4 to 6 years, it serves as the feeder to cub / Bulbul group. The Bunny law says that “ I shall try to be a good boy / girl” and its Motto is “Keep Smiling”. The programme aims at creating love for God and nature, developing habits of personal cleanliness and social manners, receiving and conveying simple verbal messages, cultivating social virtues. The programme also includes activities for mental and physical development, development of senses, emotional development, creative activities, nature study and hand work.
CUBS & BULBULS (Std. III – V)
Cubs and bulbuls is the next lap in the journey towards scouting and guiding after Bunny. Character building is its aim. Instilling self – discipline and thoughtfulness for others, at a tender age, is the major focus of the activities designed for this group. It prepares the boys and girls to take up bigger tasks in Scouting and Guiding and also helps in their mental and physical growth. Children learn to be independent and to live life in a disciplined manner. Students of Std III – V can join this Movement.
CODING AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY (Std. I to VIII)
The school provides comprehensive computer education from Std. I to X, focusing on
cutting-edge technologies.

LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This program for Std. I & II creates an English environment in classrooms that is rich in Indian experiences and culture. To help children learn the language, a process of discovery is used, employing non-linear and non-instructional approaches. This allows children to learn English through discovery, intuition and sensory engagement.
The methodology comprises four modules:
- Action
- Music
- Reading
- Story
These modules integrate features of theatre to capture the elements of natural language.
For Std. III- IX, the school has a state-of-the-art language lab that focuses on language learning aligned to international standards. Using a blended approach, the lab smartly blends the benefits of technology and learning materials.

VALUE EDUCATION (Std.III– VIII)
It is imparted through a film-based program that is introduced for Std. III- VIII to support Socio – Emotional Learning, Life Skills, Mental Well-being and Social Skills, creating future-ready students. It uses cinematic storytelling and thought-provoking workbooks and digital activities to kindle the thought process of the students.
LOGICAL REASONING PROGRAM
Aptitude Tests are a must to crack any competitive examination like Olympiad, NEET, JEE and so on. The Program (Worksheets and Assessment) addresses this through online worksheets which are customized to each child’s ability and they can practice it at their own pace. Twenty practice worksheets can be done by the students before they take up the assessment. It improves 21st Century Skills like Analytical Thinking, Numerical Ability, Visual Ability, Verbal Ability, Problem Solving skills, Memory & Concentration that are most important for the child’s growth.
OLYMPIAD EXAMS
Olympiads help students to sharpen their analytical skills. They are essential to encourage students’ competitive aptitude, and to provide them with a platform to showcase their intellectual abilities. They help in identifying the young geniuses and create a talent pool for the future. SOF Olympiad tests students of Std III to XII based on curriculum given by CBSE/STATE BOARD, depending on the class they are in, for their understanding of subject concepts, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Students can choose to participate in a minimum of three subjects. Student/teacher/ parent can evaluate the comparative performance of the student versus millions of other students.
