It is, when your classmates or other people of your age try to get you to do something. It is so easy to get into peer pressure because everyone wants to be liked by others. If you are fortunate to get a good peer group your peer group can play a vital role in shaping your personality.
Getting into peer pressure can be harmful especially for teenagers. According to the statistics, teens with friends who take drugs and drink alcohol are more likely to get convinced and get to do the same. Teenage is the phase of life when you are exposed to the world outside. These are the years when you spend most of the time with your friends. It is the beginning phase of life to become independent. People around you influence you. We should be wise enough in choosing our friends.

Peer pressure is doing something which we don’t feel like doing. It can be dangerous. We have to be careful while choosing our friends. It is trying out something new to impress people of a group. Teenagers are facing this problem. When a group of people wear modern dress the others blindly follow though they feel uncomfortable about it. People think drugs are cool but those who try them are fools. They put their life at risk. When people bully you, dare to say ‘no’ so that you find new friends those who accept you the way you are. You lose your originality while experiencing peer pressure. So be the way you are and don’t change yourself for anyone.
