MY FAVOURITE FESTIVAL

My favourite festival is Diwali. It is celebrated on October 5th. Diwali is a festival of lights. It is a colourful festival. All will burst crackers on this day. Children will shoot out crackers with guns. Children will play with the guns. They will play with joy.

My favourite festival is Diwali. Diwali is our traditional festival.On the day of Diwali we take oil bath, wear new dresses, pray to Goddess Lakshmi. Then, eat sweets and burst fire crackers. We visit our friends and relatives. This festival is celebrated as Naraha Chaturtha. This festival unite the people’s heart.

My favourite festival is Navarathri. It is celebrated for nine days. The tenth day is Dussera. This is the festival of Durga’s victory over evil demon. My mother keeps golu at home. We invite our neigbours, friends and relatives to our home. Some of my friends also invite me to their homes for golu. My mother prepares sundal as Prasadham. We really enjoy and celebrate Navarathri with friends and relatives happily.

Diwali is my favourite festival. It is called the festival of lights. Diwali is celebrated every year in the month of October or November. It is a festival of joy and happiness. We celebrate Diwali at home by lighting Crackers, diyas and distributing sweets. We light candles, lamps and diyas in our home.

Ganesh Chathurthi is my favourite festival. It is a Hindu festival. During this festival, we pray to Lord Ganesha with devotion. People keep Ganesha’s idol in home on that special occasion.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated all over the country. It is celebrated in the month of August or September. It is celebrated as a birth Anniversary of the Lord Ganesha. He removes all the problems. Variety of statues, barfis and ladoos are kept for Ganesh pooja.

Lord Ganesha is the most favourite god of everyone especially children.
