Saving money, is a very good habit. So, I started small savings. Even, an ant saves food for the rainy season. All the students should make a habit of savings. I used to keep small amount in my Piggy Bank. As of now, I have around twenty thousand rupees.
When Gaja cyclone hit Tamilnadu on Friday evening, many of my friends were affected. It caused severe damage. Many houses were destroyed. So, I have planned to donate my savings to buy relief material for the victims.

I am girl of honesty. When I was a small girl, I was rewarded a Piggy Box and a rupee coin in it, for my honesty and for every act of being good.
Now, I have grown with goodness and my Piggy Box has also grown with me in weight. It is my treasure and happiness. It is my measure of my goodness.
One day, my teacher assigned me to show, anything which is in a form of goodness and pride. I carried my Piggy Box to school. On the way to school, I saw a boy of my age with his baby sister and sick mother beside him.
The passer-by’s, just passed in hurry with their own worries. I am not so big enough to take her to a doctor. But, I gave my Piggy Box to her. I felt giving for goodness is happier than getting for goodness.

‘Little drops make the mighty ocean’. Yes indeed! These are the golden words reminded to me, by my grandfather when, he gifted me a ‘Piggy Bank’. So, I started saving money given to me during my birthdays and festivals. I used the money to buy small birthday gifts to my brother and sister. My aim is to save enough money, to buy a surprise gift for my parents. When my Piggy Box is full, my father helps me in breaking it and gets me a new one. I feel proud of my savings and I would continue to save money for my future also.

I am having nine hundred and seventy six rupees in my Piggy Bank. I will give this money to the disabled people. They will be very happy to receive it. They would swim in the sea of happiness. They will eat delicious and tasty food. I will also use it for the poor people. When I grow up, I will build school, houses and collages with my savings.
