Founder

Smt. Lalitha Menon started her career as a lecturer in Economics in the Ethiraj. College for Women. At a time when women’s education was very rare, in the 1950s, she did her post graduation. Little did she know what fate had in store for her. She was widowed at a very young age and was left with three daughters. After her tryst with Destiny, she picked up the threads of her life and started the NSN Children’s School in 1968 with just two students, to perpetuate the memory of her husband, late Sri NSN Menon. She was an embodiment of courage, determination, perseverance, and everything that made her relentless in her striving. Every time life pushed her down, she got up one more time and dusted herself and moved forward. Life was very challenging for her as she had to strike a balance between personal and professional life. Her unshakeable faith in the Almighty gave her immense strength. Her total dedication and devotion to her work contributed to the growth of the NSN Group of Schools. Her life stands as a testimony to the indomitable spirit of a woman who refused to be cowed down by the challenges of life. Success is not the absence of failure, but the will to move forward in spite of it. “Only when you have a vision for tomorrow, you will find power and purpose in your today’s work.”
