The proudest moment in my life was when I received the Guinness record in classical dance performance. I felt so proud about it. Many of my relatives called and congratulated me for getting the Guinness record. My certificate was honoured by a legend in classical dance. There were about 5000 participants and I was one among them. 4547 were awarded. I was also one of them. I felt so happy and that was the proudest moment in my life.

We feel proud when we achieve something in life. The proudest moment in my life happened last year, when my sister got first mark in the 10th grade. Eventhough I did not achieve, I felt so happy that my sister had achieved it. She came first in our chromepet & chitlapakkam area. This made her and our family feel so proud. This also made my school feel proud. Celebrating my sister’s success was my proudest moment.

In my point of view the proudest moment in my life would be the time when I had won the third prize in Tamil thirukural competition. For me, at that time, India was a new environment. I had just come from abroad and India looked pretty bad. But later on I found out that India was the best place on Earth. But still, adapting to the environment was like the hardest part of life. Everyone in school was mocking me for being a show off whenever I would convey anything in English. Then there came my turning point. The teacher told us about the thirukural competition. My friend was as usual mocking me about my participation in the competition, which made me to participate in the end. Then I practiced in my home so hard that I got dreams of it. Then, on the day of the competition, my heart was pumping like hell. Then at the time of announcement of the prices, when they called out my name, I went out blank. Then, I was so proud. My friends from that day on saw me in a new perspective.
