THE VARIOUS WAYS OF BEATING THE EXAMINATION STRESS

stress2Today in the modern world, in the name of high standard of education, more examinations are being conducted which makes the students’ life stressful. Mainly during the examinations students are being pressurized from all sides. Students have to fulfill the expectations of parents, teachers and the school. They are afraid that they would not be able to fulfill those expectations. This gives them more stress before examinations. The examination stress can be tackled in various ways. Some of them are:

 

 

  • We have to sleep well and should eat proper diet and keep our body well hydrated.
  • We should not get tensed or worried before the examination. Instead we have to be calm to overcome the loss of energy.
  • We have to prepare effectively.
  • We should be able to manage time properly. We have to plan our activities and do it accordingly.
  • We should not get stressed or be afraid of the result.
  • We should never compare ourselves with others. We have to overcome every obstacle to succeed in life.

 Before going in depth into the topic, an individual must know what exam stress is. It is a kind of nervousness or a fear which stress1a person gets before the examination. We face exams throughout our life. As students, we have to cross so many examinations-from small, least important ones to the ones that decide our life. Usually, this depends upon the mental ability of the student for instance mediocre encounters lesser exam stress than an intelligent one. This can also happen when one does not study for the exam properly. Everyone would have faced exam stress. It is a general phenomenon. Usually, as the exam dates come closer one encounters a heavy burden on themselves. This results in forgetting the apt answers for the given questions in the examination.

This is very difficult to overcome. However, if one learns to master this, he is sure to shine in his life.

One can adopt a daily study schedule which actually helps in retention of the content deep in the mind.
