I live in Midas apartment. Few of my friends suggested to celebrate “New Year” and Children’s Day in a grand manner. So we all sat together and discussed ideas, created invitation cards, medals and certificates. We conducted various program and competitions and also awarded few children certificates and medals prepared by us. We also made a stage and surprised the elders by inviting them to honour the children. Everyone in the flat were very happy. ‘Together everyone achieves more’.

I am always interested in helping the poor and needy. When the school gave us the social contribution form, I collected money and was very happy to contribute the same to a few needy people. When I heard that this money was used to build 50 toilets for the needy people, I understood that “together everyone achieves more”.

This line reminds me of a real life incident, which would be apt to quote here. My father’s friend’s marriage occasion was fast approaching and my father told all of us in the family that his friend has nobody to help him, for the occasion. So, we all went to his house, each one of us took up tasks according to our capabilities and were greatly appreciated by all his relatives and friends in that marriage occasion for extending our support.

Every year there used to be a carnival in our flat. We used to have a get together and have a great feast that day. We, children in that flat, wanted to celebrate that year’s carnival differently. So we all 14 children in the flat met the secretary and spoke about our idea.
That year carnival, we conducted many sports events like running race, bow and arrow for other children in the flats and we 14 of us were appreciated by everyone in the flat.

I always like to have neat and clean environment. Our school also encourages us to be clean.We have “clean our school” campaign every week, where all house members join together and clean the entire campus. This kind of group activities also motivates and helps us to achieve more.
