I am proud of me because I have achieved many accolades. First, I am a skater. I started my journey in 2013 and was very fond of skating. In my younger age when I had to go for practice, I cried and made everybody angry. Therefore, I stopped skating the next year. I went to drawing class and abacus class after stepping my skating class. In abacus, I won many cups and badges. In 2016, I got a prize for winning state level abacus championship. Last year I bagged two silver medals and a gold medal in Olympiad exams. On December 22, 2017, I dreamt that I am winning a National skating championship. The next day I continued skating class. There I thought no one would recognize me, but the coaches greeted me to join the class. I am skating for 2.5 years and I was selected for CBSE zonal for three times but I went only 2 times. First time I went to Tiruchendur and Andhra Pradesh. I was rejected at first stage itself. I cried and was emotional. However, second time that is this year, I was on the top 16 list from 60 skaters. However, did not make it to the top eight skaters. I will keep trying and not lose hope. Two weeks after the competition, now I am writing feeling proud of myself about me.

I am proud of myself because… I get good marks in academics; I am a good and rated chess player. I have received many medals, trophies and certificates for chess. I am now a District player. I also participate in competitive exams such as Olympiads, quiz exams, etc. I have won many prizes in our school competitions. I want to make my school proud of me. I follow my school rules such as writing good finders, being punctual, regular and eco-friendly. I am a good student to my teachers and my school. I am a good son to my parents. I am a good student to my trainer. I am a good friend to my friends. I am so proud of myself. I want to be a contributing citizen for my country.
