“Save Nature, secure future”
The “PRAKRITHI CLUB” was inaugurated by Dr.C. Velan, who motivated the students through his thought-provoking speech on “SUSTAINABILITY OF NATURAL RESOURCES IS THE DUTY OF MANKIND.”
His inspiring speech made the students get closer to nature, which helped them to nurture it for future use.

The young enthusiastic students had an opportunity to observe, enjoy, appreciate, respect and admire the various species of the earth through the inspiring talk and demonstration by MR. NISHANTH and his team.
“IN ALL THINGS OF NATURE THERE IS SOMETHING MARVELLOUS”-ARISTOTLE.
Students of the Prakrithi Club were trained to be “ONE WITH NATURE”. This was seen in their enthusiastic participation and interest in watering the plants in the school campus after school hours.

Lack of physical activity decreases the fitness and efficiency of a human being, students were trained in Yoga, Meditation and Aerobics to lead a healthy life.
“It is vital to stay as hygienic as possible”. This is not restricted to our body alone. It needs to be maintained in our surroundings as well.
To inculcate the habit of keeping the surroundings clean and maintain the classrooms neat, students were encouraged by giving
“ECO FRIENDLY AWARDS” every month to the class which was litter free throughout the month.Deforestation has become a raging issue to create awareness about safe-guarding our environment. Students were encouraged to learn the medicinal values of plants as there is “No substitute for plant derived foods”.
To exhibit their creative skills, to enhance their enthusiasm, to explore their inner potential, various inter school competitions were held.

“PLANET 2015”, the Prakrithi club day presentation held on 11th March 2016 was a fabulous showcase of the creativity and innovation of the students.
The models and placards based on the topic “ Green Transportation” highlighted the importance of conservation of natural resources and reduction of pollution.
Many charts were prepared by the children conveying the message that “ DISASTER IS A NATURAL PHENOMENON”.
The importance of organic food for a healthy life was explained by the students.
There was a wonderful display of organic foods and medicinal herbs.
Catchy slogans and quotes on nature were displayed.
The club day was indeed an “EXCITING and ENTHRALLING DAY”.
In today’s fast changing world with deforestation and global warming on the RISE it is imperative to sustain the natural resources of the Earth.
